Arbona’s subsidiary Tranova Group strengthens its position in transport technology through the acquisition of Boier Bilverktyg AB
Boier Bilverktyg is acquired by Arbona’s subsidiary Tranova Group, strengthening its position within the transport technology business area.
Boier is a tool distributor specializing in hand tools, pneumatic tools, workshop equipment, and special tools. The company works with selected suppliers to ensure a high standard and quality of its products. Boier is based in Värmdö and has more than 40 years of experience in the industry.
“I have run Boier since taking over the business from my parents in the late 1980s, and I am pleased to have found a long-term owner who can take the company to the next level. Arbona felt right from the very first contact, and it will be exciting to see Boier continue to develop under their ownership,” — Peter Eriksson, former CEO and one of the sellers
Tranova Group is a subsidiary of Arbona (publ) and operates within the transport technology business area. Tranova Group also includes the companies Bergs Fegen AB and Yourex AB.
“We are very pleased to welcome Boier to Arbona’s Tranova business area. Boier is a very well-managed company with a long history and a clearly defined position in the value chain, and we are delighted to include them—together with Boier’s employees—in our transport technology growth initiative,” — Martin Zetterström, CEO, Arbona AB
