Prototal acquires Tojos Plast

Malmöbaserade Formsprutaren Tojos Plast Förvärvas Av Prototal

On the 26 of June Prototal entered into an agreement to acquire all the shares in the Malmoe based injection moulding specialist, Tojos Plast. Weibull M&A was the sell side advisor in the transaction.

Prototal is a provider of 3D print and injection moulding services for prototypes and products of plastic components. Prototal has a wide client base, ranging from smaller start-ups to large Nordic industrial companies in several sectors, including medtech, automotive, aviation and industrials. Prior to this acquisition Prototal had 175 co-workers and four production facilities in the Nordics: Jönköping (SE), Ystad (SE), Götene (SE) och Levanger (NO). Turnover in 2019 was approximately 280 MSEK. Prototal is owned by Wilron Holding and Nalka Invest.

Tojos Plast was founded already in the 1950s and is today a successful moulding specialist of polymer products with a modern and highly automated production facility. The customer base varies widely and spans across numerous industries such as food packaging, medical products, furniture, mining, machine manufacturing etc. Tojos has 10 employees and annual sales of around 40 MSEK.
