Stena Recycling AB acquires Moreco Group AB

Weibull M&A was the advisor to the sellers when Stena Recycling AB acquired all the shares in Moreco Group AB. Moreco Group AB is a leader in the repossession of servers and storage equipment. Stena Recycling is thereby expanding its expertise in the reuse of IT infrastructure for data centers.

Stena Recycling is Sweden’s leading recycling company and a partner for developing sustainable circular solutions in all types of operations. An important focus area for the future is the reuse of IT equipment. Stena Recycling already operate a business in reuse where laptops, mobile phones and electronic components, after erasure and quality assurance, get a second life.

Moreco Group AB, which is a leader in reuse and circular services for servers, storage and network equipment, was founded in 2006 and is a well-known name for many data centers and server halls in Sweden and in the rest of the Nordic region. The company is also one of the few certified gold partners of the global security company Blancco, which provides a recognized erasure solution.
