AMO Toys AB acquires TecTeam Scandinavia AB
Weibull M&A was the seller’s advisor when AMO Toys AB reached an agreement of acquiring the entire business from TecTeam Scandinavia AB with annual sales of approximately SEK 50 million.

TecTeam is a Stockholm-based toy retailer that distributes toys from world-renowned brands and has well established sales channels, especially in the Radio Control and Vehicle segment. The company is known for its deep knowledge in Radio Controlled toys and Vehicle toys. With brands such as NIKKO, Syma, RASTAR and NINCO, TecTeam has a strong position on the Nordic toy market.
AMO Toys is a Nordic distributor of toys and traditional board games with offices in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Hong Kong. The company distributes several toy products and brands, such as Squishmallows, L.O.L, Surprise and Baby Born. AMO Toys is part of the Thunderful Group, a group of companies that develop, publish, and invest in games, while also distributing Nintendo products, games, game accessories and toys. Thunderful Group is listed on Nasdaq First North Premier.
The acquisition of TecTeam will strengthen AMO Toys’ portfolio with know-how and product portfolio to AMO Toys’ existing Toy offering.
